This movie were produced in coperation with Andreas Babenko for a competition which was brought into being by Mtv and swatch in 2009. The topic was "timetravel" and i was totally inspired by the theories of Vilém Flusser. The philosopher Vilém Flusser viewed the establishment and widespread implementation of new media technologies as impinging on almost all areas of human existence: changes in the codes and structures of communication affect politics and ethics as well as design and aesthetics. In over 500 publications - books, newspaper and journal articles - and numerous lectures, Flusser urged that it is vital to engage with the technical image and the apparatus that generates such images. In Flusser's projection of the telematic society technical innovations utilised ludically generate new and unexpected information. Human and artificial memory would be linked in a dialogue - nodes in a network-like possibility field oriented on communication.
